1. ASNC board meeting

The board of the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council is scheduled to meet today, Monday, Jan. 27, starting at 7 p.m. at Ramona Hall, located at 4580 N. Figueroa St. Among the items up for discussion and discussion are the formation of an ASNC ad-hoc committee on bike lanes on Figueroa and speeding on Montecito Drive.

The Board of Neighborhood Commissioners is scheduled to hold a special meeting and board planning retreat today, Monday, Jan. 27, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Discovery Room of the Audubon Center at Debs Park, 4700 North Griffin Ave., 90031.

3. Mount Washington Homeowners Alliance meeting

The Mount Washington Homeowners Alliance is scheduled to hold a general membership meeting today, Monday, Jan. 27, starting at 7 p.m. at the Carlin G. Smith Recreation Center, located at 511 W. Avenue 46, 90065.

4. Highland Park Old L.A. Certified Farmers Market & Outdoor Fair

Highland Park's weekly Farmers Market is scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Avenue 57 and Marmion Way, adjacent to the Metro Gold Line. This is a special kind of market: Proceeds go to the North Figueroa Association, a nonprofit group that will use the money for the security, cleanliness and improvement of the North Fig corridor and community. Questions? 5. Food Truck Feast

Highland Park’s weekly food truck feast unfolds at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the parking lot in front of the former Figueroa Produce building, located at 6312 N. Figueroa St., near the York Boulevard intersection. Food trucks from across Los Angeles are expected to be there until 9 p.m. Stay tuned for details.
