Great article, but I too a look at what these numbers mean. Are all cities alike and are all regions…Read More alike. What I see is that California cities dominate, which is awesome and that Los Angeles is actually 3rd among populations above 1 million inhabitants. I also wonder why New York City was was 175,000? Is this just mid-town or the region? At any rate, looking at the size, Chicago and Philadelphia have a higher score, but the area of Los Angeles is much bigger. Does Los Angeles have a long way to go, yes, but to group smaller municipalidades with larger ones doesn't tell the whole picture. Bike awareness, lanes, etc will help make our region one of the most connected via bike in the country. Let's keep biking Los Angeles

It's not the government's responsibility to make healthy food more accessible to everyone.…Read More Nonetheless, lower business taxes & fees and less onerous regulation imposed by the city of Los Angeles would encourage more businesses (perhaps including a "healthy" grocer) to come to our neighborhood.

Did "no way, Jose" write the letter of support to Divine Saviour Catholic Church…Read More "encouraging" them to take me to court? (they lost, I won). It was written on city letterhead, clearly a violation of separation of church and state where the city had to business in a public dispute. And, clearly an abuse of power.
