Highland Theater Lights Shining Again

The lights, which were repaired through a community effort, are now shining on a nightly basis.

Those walking along North Figueroa Street on recent evenings probably notice an unfamiliar luminescence in the night sky.

The Highland Theater--whose sign was c thanks to the joint efforts of Amy Inouye of Future Studio, the Highland Park Heritage Trust, the National Park Service's Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program, local residents and neighborhood organizations--has been glowing for the past week with far less fanfare.
