Reminder: Community Liaison Council to Discuss 710 in Highland Park Tonight

As Metro prepares to narrow down its list of proposed SR-710 extension routes, NELA residents are invited to learn more about the proposals on Monday night.

 

Metro will on Monday evening host a Community Liaison Council (CLC) meeting to discuss numerous potential extensions of State Route 710, several of which would be built through Highland Park.

The CLC meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evening at Ramona Hall (4580 N. Figueroa St.).

CLCs are comprised of diverse stakeholders including residents, business owners, and members of community organizations, institutions, and interest groups within the Study Area."

Charles Miller, a Garvanza resident who opposes the SR-710 extension, said opponents will use the meeting to organize their campaign.
