Mount Washington School Vandalized

School police are still investigating the crime.

A unknown vandal destroyed an awning and tagged windows with whiteout at on Thursday evening, according to Principal Elizabeth Valentino.

Valentino said that the vandal did not make it inside the school, but was able to hop a fence to get onto the school's grounds.

"Whoever did it broke into a supply cabinet and took some hammers and saws and sawed the awning above an outdoor patio in half," Valentino said. "Then they climbed some stairs and wrote with whiteout on the elevator windows."
