Police went to the 200 block of La Follettee Drive at 2:55 a.m. to respond to a dispute between roommates. Officer Franco of the LAPD's Northeast Division said that there was alcohol involved, which caused the verbal altercation to turn physical. The incident was initially listed as an assault with a deadly weapon, but was likely to be reduced to a battery charged.

Officers at 10 a.m. went to the 1000 block of W. Ave. 37 to take the report of a burglary from a vehicle. A similar incident was reported by an individual in Highland Park, who reported that her vehicle was broken into at the corner of York Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
