Fans Can Contribute to Brian Stow Relief Fund at Dodger Stadium Today

Dodgers will hold a "drive through" relief drive for Brian Stow and his family at stadium from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday.

The Dodgers' organization is holding a drive-through fundraiser at Dodger stadium Monday for those who want to contribute to the relief fund for a Giants fan who was brutally attacked outside the stadium following the team's opening day game on Thursday, March 31.

According to the team's website, those who wish to contribute can drive up to stadium's parking lot 1 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday. Cash and checks will be accepted. Checks need to be made out to the "Brian Stow Fund."

Stow, the Giants fan who was attacked by a pair of men outside Dodger Stadium following the opening day game, is currently in a medically induced coma as a result of the attack.  Doctors at USC Medical Center said that Stow, a paramedic and father of two, has had part of his skull removed to allow his brain to swell.

The reward for information has been increased to $150,000 thanks to a $50,000 donation from Los Angeles radio personality Tom Leykis.

The ball club has also former Los Angeles and New York Police Department William J. Bratton to review the team's security policies and procedures. Numerous Patch commenters have noted an increasingly violent atmopshere at the stadium in recent years.

The Dodgers will be in San Francisco tonight for the first in a three game series against the Giants at AT&T Park.

According to the San Francisco Examiner, AT&T Ballpark security will be stepped up in an effort to prevent a retaliatory attack.
