Memorial Day Services Set for May 27 at American Legion
The year's memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall.
American Legion Post 206 will host its annual Memorial Day service on Monday, May 27 at 27 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall, located at 227 N. Avenue 55.
Those who wish to speak at this year's service are asked to contact American Legion Post 206 Commander David Bloom at newshomie@hotmail.com or JAG Officer Anthony Howard at bitinsp@gmail.com.
This year, the legion will also hold a day of service on Saturday, May 25 at 9 a.m. to cleanup the Veterans Square Memorial located at the intersection of York Boulevard and North Figueroa Street.
