1. Cleanup at Debs Park

Volunteers are invited to meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Audubon Center at Debs Park, located at 4700 N. Griffin Ave. in Los Angeles.

Community members are invited on the last Saturday of every month to attend a Debs Park Cleanup.

Coffee, fruit, donuts, gloves, water and trash to pickup will be provided.

2. Open Air Market at La Culebra Park

La Tierra de la Culebra Park will host an open air market on Saturday, Jan. 26 from noon-4 p.m., complete with independent vendors, artists and workshops.

In addition to the the open air market, there will also be live music and bicycle repairs offered by the Ovarian Psycos.

3. Itty Bitty Chit Chat at Pop-Hop

The Pop-Hop Books & Prints will hold a sign language class for infants and toddlers on Saturday, Jan. 26 at noon.

Classes, which will be taught by Hubbell Radue, a certified Educational Sign Language Interpreter with extensive classroom experience as a teacher and interpreter, are $85 for four sessions and $22 for a single session.
