Readers' Choice: Three Way Tie Atop Best Market Race

Where do you get it all?

Update:

The deadline has come and gone, but there's still no clear winner in Patch's best Market in the Neighborhood Poll. Figueroa Produce, Fresco Community Market and La Tropicana eached earned 16 combined points for their placement in our poll and the average number of stars on their directory listing.

Rather than allow ambugity to rule the day, we've decided to extend our poll our competition another 24 hours.

The market with the most votes in the poll will receive 10 points, second place will receive 8 and third will receive 6. Same goes for ratings on their directory listing. Highest rating gets 10 points, second will receive 8 points and third place get 6 votes.

With the deadline for votes and reviews closing, we have a close race in Patch's effort to determine the best market in the neighborhood.

As of 5 am on Monday,  Figueroa Produce was leading the way with 60 of 150 possible votes. Fresco Community Market was in second with 44 votes and La Tropicana Market was in third, with 32 votes.

There's still time to ensure victory for your favorite market. If you've already voted, rally your friends to participate by sharing this article via Facebook or Twitter.

Remember, reviews will be counted as well. The market with the highest scores in the directory will earn just as many points as the market with the most votes in the poll.

Have your say!

This week's poll will focus on locally owned markets that offer meat, produce and dry goods--no convenience stores, carnicerias, panaderias or any other shops focusing only on one item.

Our poll will go live tomorrow morning, so if we've missed any markets, let us know.
