Peter, Bjorn & John at THIS Gallery Tonight
The musicians will be spinning records at THIS from 7-10 p.m.
Touring on the strength of a new album is industry standard for professional music acts, but Peter, Bjorn & John might be breaking some new ground with their current tour of major city galleries to promote the cover art of their latest release, Gimme Some.
PB&J's Gimme Some Art tour, which has already made stops in New York and Chicago, will stop in Los Angeles on Thursday evening at Highland Park's THIS gallery.
According to THIS' Blog, PB&J and partner-in-crime Victoria Bergsman will be spinning DJ sets from 7-10 p.m. inside the cozy gallery at 5906 North Figueroa Street. Art featured on the band's recent album, which was created by Swedish artist Jonas Torvestig, will be on display and available for purchase.

Copies of the Torvestig's work are limited, as is space inside THIS Gallery. According to THIS' Blog, the exhibit is already fully booked.
However, those hoping to hang out, dance and meet the artists will still be able to do so at an after-party hosted by Dance Right at La Cita on 336 S. Hill Street Downtown.
