Eagle Rock Center For the Arts to Host NELAart Microgrant Fundraiser Sunday

This month's event has a sweeter side.

The will be home to NELAart's second Microgrant fundraiser on Sunday, March 18 at 7 p.m.

Postponed in February due to fears that the Academy Awards would sap attendance, this month's fundraiser will welcome four competitors from the world of arts and entertainment who will vie for the pot of the evening's admission fees.

"$10 buys a ticket for dessert bites from , Little Flower, Vegan Jam Bakery, and New York Snow," said spokesperson Janet Dodson. "But the most important part is the vote. Patrons vote on four presentations by emerging artists. The crowd favorite takes home the cash from the admissions: instant micro-grant, and collective community support for the arts. All that and treats too."
