A Dog Day Afternoon in Hermon
Hermon Park in Arroyo Seco Dog Park is a favorite gathering place of local canine lovers.
Every week, our viewfinder highlights people and places in and around the neighborhoods of Highland Park and Mount Washington.
On Thursday morning, we were at the Hermon Park in the Arroyo Seco Dog Park, snapping photos of friendly dogs and their owners from all across Northeast Los Angeles.
"People are a little more friendly here than at the Pasadena Dog Park," said South Pasadena resident Michael Pangelinan. "There, it seems like everybody's on their cell-phones instead of paying attention to their dogs."
