Movie Night 2.0: E.T. is coming to Highland Park!

The Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council is prepping to host it's second outdoor movie night this coming Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 7:30pm. The event, which will once again be held at the Highland Park Recreation Center, is another effort by the board's Outreach Committee to host large-scale, home-grown events to benefit the neighborhood. We are excited to report that we had 175 people attend the first movie night last month, and we are aiming for 250 for this second go around. Commonly overheard at the first event was "when is the next movie night going to be?" This Saturday's screening of E.T. the Extraterrestrial is our attempt to follow through with another great event for our neighbors. The HHPNC would ideally like to begin hosting these movie nights on a larger scale in our beautiful Sycamore Grove Park at the unused bandshell in the park. In order to do so, we need to show a strong community support for these events. So we hope to see you out this Saturday night! Bring your blankets, snacks, and friends!
