Water Floods Franklin High School Auditorium

Cleanup of the flooding took about three hours.

A broken water pipe caused several inches of water to flood 's auditorium on Saturday evening.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the flooding incident at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, according to Capt. Gene Bednarchik.

Bednarkchik said that the flooding was caused by a broken water pipe and that water levels were "several inches" high inside the auditorium.

"The flooding was confined to the auditorium and took about three hours to clean up," Bednarchik said.
