There are vampires in the neighborhood: Production trucks for HBO's True Blood series were set up outside of the Hi Ho Market this morning and filmed inside the corner store from 7-9:30 a.m., before moving to their next location a few blocks down.

Scenes for True Blood's season five were also shot inside a house located at 6425 Crescent Street. The scenes will appear in episode 503, "Whatever I Am, You Made Me."

According to a call sheet obtained by Patch, the description for scene 3.12 filmed inside the Hi Ho Market states that Jason, played by actor Ryan Kwanten, bumps into Miss Steeler. In scene 3.22 Jason and Miss Steeler, played by actress Melissa Page Hamilton, "rekindle at Steelers' home."

There are no parking signs temporarily posted on sections of Avenue 65 near Crescent Street, which are valid Tuesday only.
