Bennett Kayser to Speak at Neighborhood Council

This will be Kayser's first visit to the HHPNC, and there are no shortage of discussion topics.

Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education Representative Bennett Kayser will have no shortage of topics to discuss when he is welcomed by the (HHPNC) as their guest speaker on Thursday (tonight).

The HHPNC will hold their bi-weekly public meeting from 7-9 p.m. at the on Thursday, April 19. 

Thursday's meeting agenda is light, meaning that Kayser will have ample time to discuss his year of representing LAUSD Board District 5.

Locally, teachers are (LAICHS) over the possibility that the charter school might relocate onto their campus. California Proposition 39 requires school districts to offer district classroom space to charter schools.

In one of Thursday's few agenda items, the HHPNC is scheduled to vote on a letter supporting Franklin's effort to maintain classroom space that has been offerd to LAICHS.
