Heinrich Keifer was born in General Hospital - Los Angeles, grew up in Burbank, moved to Highland Park in 1978, purchasing his first home.

He began a career in plumbing in 1975 when he joined Northwestern Plumbing Company. In 1980 he purchased the company and began the life of a business owner in L.A. In 1982 he joined the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (A national, state and County trade group), where he gained a wealth of experience in trade relations, technical and business education, government relations and the world of working through a board of directors.

After many years of service that continue today through his participation in the "Flow Expo," a regional Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Industry Trade show, Heinrich retired from the plumbing business and now makes his living managing several personally owned properties.

Heinrich is active in Kiwanis International, Business of Law Enforcement in the Northeast Division (BLEND), Neighborhood Council Coalitions, American Red Cross, Peace in the Northeast March/ Unity Day, Congress of Neighborhoods, Lummis Day Community Foundation, Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates and other locally based organizations. His local expertize include: Logistics Coordinator for many local projects, treasurer, secretary, First Aid Responder, project manager, City, LAUSD and County Health event permit coordinator.
