The Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council is an elected board that represents residents of the communities of MountMore Washington, Hermon, Montecito Heights, Monterey Hills and Sycamore Grove. Under the Charter of the City of Los Angeles, its mission is to advise L.A.'s elected officials and departments regarding local and citywide governmental issues on behalf of the stakeholders in those communities. Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month at Ramona Hall on 4580 North Figueroa Street.
Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council

Founded in 2002, the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council's objective is to advocate on behalf of HighlandMore Park residents to the Los Angeles City Council. The neighborhood council holds bi-monthly meetings at the Highland Park Senior Center on 6152 N. Figueroa St. The board oversees issues related to land use, city services, education, public safety, the arts and others that are of importance to neighborhood residents. </p> <p>Members are elected by neighborhood officials and residents are free to run for seats on the council.</p> <h2><em><strong><br /></strong></em></h2>
