The Outpost For Contemporary Art is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of programs that "support…More the work of innovative, socially-engaged artists who utilize public spaces, temporary venues, and collaborative methods of production to foster intimate contact and genuine connection with their audiences." It focuses on promoting and mixing different international and local cultures as it relates to the arts. </p> <p>Outpost organizes screenings, artist presentations, exhibitions, lectures, and workshops. The program works in cycles, which are based on a specific theme and geographical area. One previous project focuses on the relationship between the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and another project focuses on South America.</p>
