Christ Faith Mission

<p>Faith healer and social reformer gave up his medical career following a personal healing miracle to found the Pisgah Home Movement in Highland Park at the Christ Faith Mission/Old Pisgah Home.</p> <p>Dr. Yoakum had a desire to save lives through preaching the gospel and helping the poor of Highland Park. More than 100 years after its founding, the Christ Faith Mission, currently known as World Harvest Church, still follows its mission of aiding the poor of Highland Park with a food bank, on-site social workers and a vast array of information to help the surrounding community.  </p>
