Best Hardware Store on the Eastside

Nominate your candidate here for the "Best Hardware Store" in Echo Park, SIlver Lake, Los Feliz, Atwater, Glassell Park, Cypress Park, Highland Park, Eagle Rock and Mount Washington. Later, vote to help pick the winner.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program with a big blowout: voting in 25 categories based entirely on reader nominations.

One of them is "Best Hardware Store."

Even after the big box revolution, the Eastside's got many. They're full of character and helpful folks with long histories of serving their communities.

So tell us, where do you go when you need nails, a new trashcan and, maybe, some friendly advice. You don't want to wait in long lines or drive for miles, right?

Pick from among the neighborhoods covered by the Echo Park-Silver Lake, Eagle Rock and Highland Park-Mount Washington Patches:

  • Silver Lake
  • Echo Park
  • Los Feliz
  • Atwater
  • Cypress Park
  • Glassell Park
  • Highland Park
  • Eagle Rock
  • Mount Washington

We know folks are mobile in trying to make the most of their neighborhoods. So we decided to team up so our pick truly represents where you live and may also travel.

To nominate a store, just mention it in the comments below.

If you already see your nominee there, second it with a comment of your own.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

I love tritch and no project survives a trip there, but strangely I also love going to Home Depot.
