Protesters Call For Firing of LAUSD Board Chief (VIDEO)
Critics of the LAUSD Board president launch a signature campaign for her recall.
On Wednesday, April 11, dozens of protesters launched a campaign outside LAUSD headquarters downtown to recall LAUSD Board President Monica Garcia.
Led by education activist and blogger Robert J. Skeels, the group hopes to obtain some 26,000 signatures, representing 15 percent of the registered voters in Garcia’s LAUSD District 2, as the first step in the recall effort, according to a Southern California Public Radio blog.
