Produce Collective Returns to Mount Washington Elementary

After a summer off, school-subsidizing produce program is again open for business.

The students at weren't the only sprouts to return to the school on the hill last week.

Also returning is the Mount Washington Elementary Produce Collective, through which locals can purchase a box of greens grown at the school.

The produce collective was formed in partnership with Equitable Roots: a local community organization started by Alex Dorsey, which provides fresh, locally-sourced, organic produce.
