While school is out for the summer, produce can be picked up at a new location on York Boulevard.

will continue throughout the summer, but with a new pickup location.

While school is closed for the summer, produce can be picked up at 5827 York Blvd., Suite C between 3:00 and 6:30 p.m. Pickups are held on Thursdays.

The produce collective was formed in partnership with Equitable Roots: a local community organization started by Alex Dorsey, which provides fresh, locally-sourced, organic produce.

Those interested in purchasing produce can do so through the Equitable Roots website.

Each box of produce cost $21, with $3 of every purchase going toward school improvement projects.

Patch contributor Kim Axelrod Ohanneson took a tour of the Mount Washington Elementary gardens in June.
