Los Angeles Unified School District's after-school program Beyond the Bell and the New York-based organization Jazz at Lincoln Center was scheduled to continue a mini-series of traveling jazz concerts at 10 LAUSD schools on Thursday. Stops include a concert at Mt. Washington Elementary School.
The "Let Freedom Swing: Jazz for Young People Concerts with Eric Reed" hour-long narrated concerts and professional jazz ensembles aim to provide students with experiences in music and entertainment education.
