Garvanza Elementary School to Host Earth Day Cleanup

Everyone is invited, even you.

Community Members are invited to participate in an Earth Day school beautification event to be held at on Saturday, April 21 from 8:30-12:30 a.m.

"We are hoping to have on site students and their parents, as well as any interested member of the community to assist us in a number of projects in and around our school," Garvanza Elementary School Principal Juan Gonzalez told Patch.

Gonzalez added that he was hopeful that Councilman José Huizar's office would be able to provide cleanup supplies for the event, but said he would gladly accept donations from any community group that stepped forward.
