Young Folks Urban Farmers and Good Girl Dinette are teaming up for the first annual "Vegetable Garden for the People" plant give-away.
Young Folks has hundreds of summer vegetable and herb plants looking for loving homes and excited bellies. Come get just what you need to add to your backyard, community, school, or guerilla (!) farm or garden.
What we are giving away: Tomatoes, tomatillo, peppers, eggplant, squash, cucumber, basil, & other herbs.

Never gardened before? Don’t know how to grow food? Young Folks will be there to guide you in the right direction and answer questions about getting started or enhancing your already existing projects.
Take home recipes and tips on how to prepare fresh vegetables every day in your home!
