Figueroa Produce Market Presents Aldama Day. This event is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Anyone that mentions Aldama Elementary will not only receive a 5% discount on their purchase, but will also support Aldama as the schools PTA will receive 20% of the proceeds generated that day!
The Aldama Elementary PTA will use the proceeds from this fundraiser to support its Playworks Program. Each year the PTA has to raise $25,500 to keep the program going. Playworks provides an unparalleled opportunity to foster the physical, social and emotional development of our children. Exclusively working on-site with low-income schools such as Aldama Elementary, engineering a powerful system of play that is making a daily difference is our children's lives.
