With a little more than three weeks remaining for the May 21 runoff election for Council District 1, former Assemblyman Gil Cedillo and Council District 1 Chief of Staff José Gardea appeared before a crowd of about 125 people Saturday in a candidates’ forum and discussion held at the Highland Park Recreation Center.
