Sunday's parade was another grand affair to remember.

Northeast Los Angeles celebrated Veterans' Day Parade Sunday, with an opening ceremony at the Cypress Park Veterans' Memorial, followed by the actual parade from the Glassell Park Recreation Center.
It was Northeast L.A.'s eighth Veterans' Day Parade. Led by Grand Marshal Maj. Gen. Megan P. Tatu, the parade was sponsored by Councilmember Gil Cedillo and Councilmember José Huizar as well as by the Cypress Park Veterans' Committee, the Greater Cypress Park Neighborhood Council, the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council and the Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division.
