Highland Park Crime Blotter: Tuesday, Nov. 30

This week's crime blotter includes stolen cars, reports of domestic abuse and petty theft.

According to data provided by CrimeMapping.com, LAPD officers responsed to seven incidents in Highland Park between Wednesday, Nov. 23 and Monday, Nov. 29.

Vehicle Thefts

Officers responded to two calls about stolen vehicles in Highland Park in the last week. The first came on Friday, Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. near the 6400 block of Repton Avenue. Officers responded to another call about a stolen vehicle on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. near the 5200 block of Irvington Place.

Theft/Larceny

LAPD were called to the corner of Avenue 50 and York Boulevard on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. to respond to a reported theft. The following day, at 3 p.m., another theft was reported near the 5100 block of North Figueroa Street.

Vehicle Break-In/Thefts

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, police were called to the corner of Avenue 56 and Figueroa Street to respond to the report of a grant theft from a vehicle (grand theft is the theft of cash or valuables greater than $950.00). Officers at 6 p.m. also responded to a report of petty theft from a vehicle (less than $950 in cash or valuables) near the 1600 block of North Avenue 55.

Spousal Abuse

Police went to a Stratford Road home at 7:30 a.m. to take the report of an alleged spousal abuse incident.
