Former President Bill Clinto to Visit L.A. on Thursday

Former President Bill Clinton and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will host a meeting at Los Angeles City Hall Thursday to discuss ways of strengthening infrastructure in cities across the country.

Public officials, investors and labor leaders invited to "The 21st Century Infrastructure and Innovation for a Resilient Economy Forum" will discuss ways of investing in infrastructure projects and dealing with climate change.

Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber and officials from the Green Building Council, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Delos Living are among those expected to take part in the event.

The meeting, also hosted by the West Coast Infrastructure Exchange, is part of the Clinton Global Initiative, or CGI, a project of the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

"Commitments to Action" will be developed at the meeting and released in June at the 2014 CGI America meeting.
