Census Data Coming Tuesday for Los Angeles
The U.S. Census Bureau announced the release tomorrow of population data for the town, county and state.
Results of the 2010 U.S. Census will be released at midday Tuesday, March 8, for California and all the communities in Los Angeles County, and we'll be posting news about the data as soon as they are released.
On Monday, the Census Bureau announced that it had shipped the local 2010 Census data to Gov. Jerry Brown and the leadership of the state legislature in California.
On Tuesday, once the state government confirms receipt of the official data, the bureau will then release the data to the public.

Tuesday's release is expected around 12:30 p.m. PST. At that time, the full set of data will be available via FTP download (LINK TO: http://www2.census.gov/census_2010/01-Redistricting_File--PL_94-171/ )

The data will include population totals, as well as totals by race, Hispanic origin and voting age, broken down by community.
