Cedillo and Gardea Discuss Job Creation in Spanish (Part II)

The two CD 1 candidates address a key issue in a weekend forum.

Former Assemblyman Gil Cedillo and Council District 1 Chief of Staff José Gardea spoke in Spanish to a group of people during a candidates’ forum and discussion held at the Highland Park Recreation Center Saturday.

The candidates offered their views on a range of local and regional issues, including job creation—the subject of the above video—Southwest Museum, Transit Village, bike lanes on Figueroa, affordable housing, and the Wal-Mart Chinatown. The runoff election between the two candidates will be held May 21.
