Suspect Charged in Morales Killing

Daniel F. Aguilar is being held without bail.

Daniel F. Aguilar, 19, was on Wednesday morning charged in Los Angeles Superior Court for allegedly killing Pedro Morales and wounding of his brother on Saturday evening in Highland Park.

"The investigation has pretty much winded down since Aguilar was identified," said LAPD Northeast Homicide Detective Jose Carillo. "All of the evidence we've found along the way led to him being charged. "

Carillo also confirmed that the weapon used in shooting was a shotgun. Police also believe the shooting to be gang related.

Aguilar was ordered to be held without bail at Los Angeles County prison facility. His next court date has not been scheduled yet, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

, Morales and his brother were both shot at around 6:20 p.m. in front of an apartment building on 5300 Monte Vista St. on Saturday, July 7. The Coroner's office did not release the name of Morales' brother, who suffered non-life threatening wounds from a shotgun blast to the shoulder.

Church members want peace and quiet in their own homes but the freedom to force religion on others.Read More And, they want the freedom to force noise into other people's homes. Anyone from Divine Saviour want some noise forced into their home like some banging metal pans?

Jesse is fine. He is campaining for Cedilllo. Neither have ran away. Both have appreciated myRead More help in campaining for Cedillo. His eyeliner must have faded away. All that matters is that he will do more than "no way, Jose" has done in 12 years with "do nothing, Ed Reyes." My problem is not with bells, it is with the noise (amplified sound) from Divine Saviour Catholic Church. You need to get your facts straight. Noise is a mental issue. Divine Saviour Catholic Church is the one with a mental issue. They are hypocrites that they want to force noise on others then they themselves want peace and quiet. Get the facts.
