Rains Cause Multiple Crashes on Parkway

Two women were critically injured in a multi-car crash near Elysian Valley.

Two women were critically injured, and a third suffered serious injuries in one of several wet weather crashes on the 110 freeway between Los Angeles and Pasadena today.

Thirty firefighters were sent to untangle the wreckage of several cars on the Arroyo Seco Parkway, at about 9:30 a.m.

The crash happened where the left freeway lane makes a sharp left turn to transition from a tunnel to the northbound Golden Stat Freeway.

Other crashes on the northbound 110 occurred downtown, at Fifth Street, and in Highland Park, near Avenue 64, during the morning rain storms.
