The city is so cheap they're not even going to build a parking lot for the employees.

The former Northeast Police Station on York better served the community. The old nursery on the boulevard nearby has been empty for some time. It would be nice if that property was purchased to expand the site.

No one cared when the community wanted and begged for a school and a park on contaminated land on Taylor Yard.

I am concerned that no where is the in put of the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council found in regards to this major project. While the current Land Use Secretary, Harvey Slater, who was appointed by his fellow lgbt slate members on the board, and is now running to be elected in his own right; and should not be elected in my opinion, seems fixated on good gardening tips, dreams of Starbucks, "re-election", and how his catering biz, Arbonne can profit off the opening of the proposed Highland Transit Village development, to be much interested in something like the construction of a new NELA Police Station. The cops certainly need one by the way and I hope they can afford the best, top of the line, finest in the world, and the best of everything they need! Always! When I am president of the new board I will expect the new LU Chair to be more community conscious and less self aggrandizing than the current head... bug eyes... yeah...
