LAFD Extinguishes Brush Fire on Avenue 58

No property was damaged in the brush fire.

Firefighters from Los Angeles Fire Department Station 12 in Highland Park extinguished a blaze at the end of South Avenue 58 at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

According to firefighters at the scene, the fire emanated from a palm frond located on the hill at the end of Avenue 58. The cause of the fire is unknown.

No property was damaged, and the fire was knocked down within five minutes.
