Robert Calabia, 34, of Glassell Park was among the four people shot to death in Northride Last weekend.
According to NBC Southern California, relatives had set up a memorial outside their home to mourn the death of the home healthcare nurse.
The Los Angeles Daily News has identified the other victims as Amanda Ghossein, 25, Jennifer Kim, 26, and Teofilo "JoJo" Navales, 49.
On Monday, four individuals suspected in the killings were arrested near the Las Vegas Strip.
Ka Pasasouk, 31, of Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Also arrested were Howard Alcantara, 30, of Glendale; Donna Rabulan, 30, of Los Angeles; and Christina Neal, 31, of Los Angeles. Alcantara, Rabulan and Neal were all booked on suspicion of aiding a felon. Alcantara was also booked on suspicion of robbery, police said.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said there is believed to be a connection between the victims and the suspects.
There was a relationship between these individuals, they knew each other," Beck told KCAL9 on Wednesday. "This was not a group preying on strangers." The suspects were trying to retrieve property that they believed theirs, he said.
According to the LAPD, the victims had been visiting friends at the house in the 17400 block of Devonshire Street when they were fatally shot around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Neighbors had reported hearing screaming and gunshots and the victims were found outside the house, police said.
