$50,000 Reward Offered for Information in Dodger Stadium Attack

LAPD, the Dodgers, the Giants and the victim's employers are all pitching to help pay for the reward.

The reward for information for two men suspected of severely beating a Giants fan outside Dodgers Stadium during the team's opening game last Tuesday has been increased to $50,000.

The reward is being jointly funded by the Dodgers organization, who is putting $25,000 toward the cause and LAPD, who offered a $10,000  reward shortly after the attack. The Giants organization has also announced that they will be offering $10,000 and the victim's employer has also pledged to give $5,000.

According to police, the victim, 42-year-old Brian Stow, was followed to his vehicle by two suspects. The suspects allegedly struck Stowe in the head with a closed fist, knocking him unconscious. The two suspects then continued to kick Stow in the head and torso as he lay on the ground, police said.

The two suspects then fled to their vehicle, which was driven by a female driver, police said.

According to police, Stow, a father of two, is currently in a medically induced coma and may need a frontal lobe in his brain removed as a result of swelling caused by the attack.

To provide any information to police, contact the LAPD Northeast Division's detectives at (213) 847-4261.

Tonight, a prayer service for Stow will be held outside USC County Hospital on 1200 North State St. at 6 p.m.
