2 Vehicles Get Stuck Under Dump Truck on 110 Freeway

Three people were sent to hospitals—two in critical condition—after two vehicles became stuck under a dump truck on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Los Angeles Convention Center early today.

A Los Angeles Fire Department captain said one other person was transported from the scene with minor injuries.

The California Highway Patrol online incident log said the collision, just north of West Pico Boulevard, was reported at 5:37 a.m.

Two northbound lanes of the freeway, on the western edge of downtown Los Angeles, were closed until about 7 a.m., when the roadway was reopened, the CHP reported. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
