Hike the Jack Smith Trail

Enjoy beautiful views, hear about local history, landmarks and native plants.

This annual hike is held by the Mt. Washington Association in honor of Jack & Denny Smith, former residents and longtime supporters of literacy and childrens education. Jack was a LA Times columnist for some 40 years and often wrote about our community with warmth and humor.

Break out your walking shoes. The hike is about 3 miles longs - up and down hills - not an easy walk but a good spring tune-up and you meet the nicest people. Friendly dogs on leash welcome. Snacks and water will be provided at the midpoint. For more info or to RSVP email: lynnette.kampe@gmail.com
