As previously reported on Patch, Holy Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church is seeking permission from the Department of City Planning to build a 62-unit residential development with an adjacent recreational facility on a swath of church-owned land on Aldama Street.

The Office Of Zoning Administration will hold a public hearing on the development on Thursday, April 11 at 9 a.m. in room 1020 of City Hall, located at 200 N. Spring St. in Downtown Los Angeles.
