Readers’ Choice: Which Café in Eagle Rock Serves the Best Coffee?

From Swork and Starbucks to the Coffee Table and Auntie Em’s, Eagle Rock takes its coffee seriously.

One of the charms of living in Eagle Rock is the ability to pop into one of the neighborhood’s many cafés and enjoy a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper or getting some work done on your laptop.

Of course, not every café serves coffee worth writing home about. So chances are that if you take your coffee seriously you probably patronize one or two of no more than half a dozen Eagle Rock establishments where caffeinated drinks range from decent to alluring.

So we think it’s a question worth asking: Which café do you think serves the best coffee in Eagle Rock? (Please note that this isn’t the same thing as asking, “Which café do you like to spend time in over a cup of coffee?”)

Take a look at our list below—and then take our poll. If you feel inclined, tell us in the Comments section why you think the coffee at your favored café is the best.

The poll will close at 10 a.m. this coming Friday and the results will be announced shortly thereafter. And remember to cast your vote no more than once!

Here’s our list:

Coffee Table Bistro
Auntie Em’s Kitchen
Cafe Beaujolais

Heck, they're all good Ajay! The great thing about Eagle Rock is that we have so many great coffee cafes to choose from. If I had to choose a favorite I would have to go with the Coffee Table but Sworks comes in a close second and oh heck, they're all good!

I have not been to some of these cafes; so I will have to give them a try. I don't like Swork because they use powder, and I don't like that.

Cafe Beaujolais for a Saturday cafe au lait starts my weekends off right. Breakfast at Cindys includes great coffee but lets keep that our secret...

Yes, Severin—thanks—we've added Spoon. (Isn't Eagle Cafe a bit obscure?)
