How Will The Highland Park Transit Village Look From the Street

McCormack, Baron, Salazar released video of 3D renderings showing how the Highland Park Transit Village will appear from various nearby vantages.

Highland Park residents have expressed several concerns regarding the proposed Highland Park Transit Village--an 80-unit development to be placed on three LADOT lots behind North Figueroa Street.

Those concerns include the potential impact to businesses during the course of construction, increased traffic and the loss of parking, and the project's overall visual scale.

At Thusday evening's Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council meeting, developer McCormack, Baron, Salazar released 3D renderings that addressed those concerns regarding visual scale. The video above shows how the project--which comprises 20 townhomes, a 50 unit apartment building and a 10 unit apartment building--will appear from various nearby vantages.

McCormack, Baron, Salazar declined to release the original video files to Patch.com, and noted that the 3D images of the project's buildings contained in the video do not fully represent the potential final appearance. The size of the buildings, though, will not change.
