Scoops Coming to York Boulevard
With so many new restaurants opening on York Boulevard, Highland Park residents will soon have a new place to go for dessert.
The arrival of a Scoops Ice Cream Shop on York Boulevard, inside the vacant building next to Italiano's, has been rumoured for nearly a year.
On Thursday, The Eastsider L.A. confirmed that those rumors are true.

Now, Scoops owner Tai Kim, is preparing to open a new location in Highland Park. People familiar with his plans said that Kim will open a store and production facility in an approximately 1,200-square-foot storefront now under construction near York Boulevard and N. Avenue 51.
Scoops got it's start on Heliotrope Drive in East Hollywood, and is known for it's bold flavor combinations. When it opens, it will join and as the latest eatery to play a role in slowly changing the flavor of York Boulevard.
