Food Truck Report: The Lineup for Tuesday, August 30

Patch's preview of Highland Park Dinner on the Go's food truck feast offerings.

The Highland Park Din-Din-a-Go-Go Food Truck Fest has a new name and a new Twitter handle. HParkDDAGG is now known as "Highland Park Dinner on the Go." If you're still following HParkDDAGG on Twitter, make sure you switch over to their new account, HParkDOTG for the latest food truck updates. 

Never mind the monikers, though, the food trucks will return to at 6312 N. Figueroa St. tonight at 5:30 until 9 p.m., bringing with it a dazzling array of local flavor.

Here's a look at some of the trucks will be participating in tonight's feast, along with links to their web-sites, Twitter accounts and menus (when available). While it's never easy to decide which truck will get your hard earned dollars, hopefully this list will give you a head start in making your choice.

Canadian Cuisine? If you've never tried if before, Poutine Truck is offering you your first chance with their spin on poutine, a traditional Canadian dish featuring french fries, fresh cheese curd and gravy. You can learn more on their Twitter account at @ThePoutineTruck or check out their menu.

Don Chow Tacos offers Chinese/Mexican fusion cuisine on four-wheels. Chinese Tamales anyone? Check out their menu and look for updates on Twitter at @donchowtacos.

Phamish Truck is a family run business dedicated to bringing Vietnamese cuisine to neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Check out there menu here, or follow them on Twitter at @eatphamish.

The Greasy Wiener Truck promises "Loads of Fun on a Bun." Take a look at their menu and check them out on Twitter at @thegreasywiener.
