Saturday's Art Soup Night at Ba Restaurant in Highland Park brought art lovers and gourmands alike to York Boulevard.
Sculptor Jolino Beserra took home Saturday's nearly $440 prize pot, which was funded by attendees, who paid $10 for one vote a bowl of soup from Chef James Graham.
Through Beserra, best known for his creating the Hermon Dog Park sculpture, took home the gold, the Yarn Bombers of Los Angeles also left their mark on York Boulevard.
The bombing crews left yards on yarn around electrical boxes, street lights, parking meters and trees around Ba, which pedestrians were free to enjoy.
