The Fremont Gallery is pleased to exhibit the artwork of a gifted child artist, Sebastian Chavez who, at the age of three, made his first free ‐hand drawing created out of the use of the alphabet and subsequently practiced more with the use of color and mixed media. He has also advanced from drawing simple lines and shapes to larger drawings. During these young years, he noticed all the things of the outside world like trees, animals, sinuous freeway configurations, traffic lights, and street signs, all of which became his objects of inspiration to draw. One of his unique accomplished creations, or inventions, was the series "Live Traffic Lights" collection in which he imagined traffic signals as living beings capturing the day’s events, the good the bad and the interesting part of living; and a mural which included everything that was interesting to him at the time. During his nine years of continuous work, he has demonstrated his talent in visual art – an ability in projecting spatial vision, composition, perspective, and the use of mixed media and hand control at such as young age.

Sebastian continues his natural pursuit of art, presently exploring artistic expressions on computer modeling and design. It is planned for him to attend a high school which specializes in education with an emphasis in art in order to continue his development on the techniques in the use of mixed media and design.
